MCP

Ingest and search LogsLoom logs from Cursor, Claude Desktop, or any MCP client. Same project API key as curl and the SDK — not a separate product.

Stdio

Run npx -y @logsloom/mcp with LOGSLOOM_API_KEY. It calls https://api.logsloom.com. Add this to Cursor (mcp.json) or Claude Desktop (claude_desktop_config.json):

stdio{
  "mcpServers": {
    "logsloom": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@logsloom/mcp"],
      "env": {
        "LOGSLOOM_API_KEY": "lb_live_…"
      }
    }
  }
}

LOGSLOOM_API_URL is optional. Set it only to point at another API origin (for example local http://localhost:8080).

Remote

Hosted Streamable HTTP at https://mcp.logsloom.com/mcp. Auth is Authorization: Bearer <key> — not OAuth. The hosted process has no default key.

remote{
  "mcpServers": {
    "logsloom": {
      "url": "https://mcp.logsloom.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer lb_live_…"
      }
    }
  }
}

API key

Sign in at app.logsloom.com, open a project, then Keys. Create a key (lb_live_…). The plaintext value is shown once.

Tools

Four tools. Ingest writes; the others only read the project scoped to your key.

ToolAccessWhat it does
logs_ingestWriteSend one log or a batch (max 100) to your project.
logs_searchReadFilter logs by message, level, or service.
logs_getReadFetch one log by id from the latest results.
logs_projects_listReadConfirm the project scoped to the current API key.

Limits

MCP is included on Free, Pro, and Team. Events follow plan retention — there is no separate MCP quota.

  • Free: 7-day retention
  • Pro: 30-day retention
  • Team: 90-day retention

Support and data

Email [email protected].

API keys are secrets — do not commit them or paste them into public chats. Tool calls send log data to your LogsLoom project over HTTPS. Ingest writes events; search, get, and projects_list only read.
